Meet the DESIGNERS
Betsy NICHOL
Betsy has been creating interiors and staging for over 25 years, and her designs place equal emphasis on function, comfort and beauty.
Her work spans many styles ranging from traditional to transitional, mid century modern to contemporary - environments that are always an expression of the client's taste, lifestyle and color preferences. Nichol is a master colorist.
She works closely with leading architects and construction firms in the Metropolitan New York and Hamptons area.
BACKGROUND
Past clients have included well-known persons in finance, business, the arts, and the entertainment industries.
Her work has appeared in publications ranging from Architectural Digest to Home Trends magazine, Dan's Paper, Southampton Press, Metropolitan Home and Windows and Wallcoverings.
Nichol began her career as an editor of HFN, the leading trade publication covering home furnishings. She has participated in two showhouses and served on the board of several design associations, namely the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA), and the Design Industry Foundation Fighting Aids (DIFFA).
She studied at the prestigious New York School of Interior Design and graduated from Boston University with honors.
Eldon WONG
Eldon has over 20 years of experience curating interiors for clients that are personal, stylish and timeless.
In addition, he does home staging to promote real estate sales, construction management and appraisals in fine and decorative arts.
Eldon has also purchased and renovated property for resale in the Hamptons, CT, NJ and PA.
Not confined to contemporary design, he looks to traditional furnishings for inspiration and combines them with a sense of fun and whimsy.
BACKGROUND
Based in New York, Wong's residential projects have been published in House Beautiful, Hampton Cottages and Gardens, Food & Wine, and many interior design books.
His nationally and internationally recognized interiors include urban lofts, suburban homes and country retreats as well as 18th century houses and mid century dwellings.
He graduated from Nova Scotia College of Art+Design and McGill University in Canada and then managed a New York City decorative art advisory that worked with international museum collections. Working with experts in furniture, ceramics, objects, and more, Wong honed his expertise in 19th and 20th century design eventually becoming an advisor for collectors.
